Fruits include various berries, apples, peaches, plums, nectarines, pears and melons. All the fruit is always locally grown and delicious and the berries are usually organic. The other fruit is grown using IPM (Integrated Pest Management)—but as organic fruit becomes more available, the farmer will include it in the share.
For more information on IPM, check out Cornell University’s fact sheet by clicking here.
